4)c)iv)vi) The windows in the school room and bedroom, which are level with the ground outside, do not have at least 5.0 square feet of open area as required. When opened, the open space measured 27.5 inches wide by 25.5 inches high. This calculates to 4.87 square feet of open space. The interior sill height measured 50 inches from the sill to the floor, but there was a table under the window in the school room and a padded bench under the window in the bedroom. It is recommended the licensee consult with local fire regarding these window exits.
